Emirates Flight Catering provides airline, events, and VIP Catering, as wells as ancillary services, including laundry, food production and airport lounge food and beverage. In 2007, we launched a state-of-the-art complex dedicated to servicing Emirates flights. With a built-up area of over 56,000m2, it’s the largest facility of its kind in the world. In November 2018 we expanded the facility with a wing dedicated to the production of Emirates First Class and Business Class meals.
Emirates Flight Catering is 90% owned by Emirates, with the remaining shares held by Dubai Airports Corporation. We also cater to other airlines operating at Dubai International airport, currently servicing more than 100 airline clients.

Our responsibility to the environment
At Emirates Flight Catering we recognise that environmental responsibility is core to our long-term success, and we are committed to using resources in a sustainable manner and minimising the environmental impact of our operations across all activities.
Our solar rooftop power plant comprises 8,112 individual solar panels and generate 4,195 megawatt-hours of electricity annually, allowing us to reduce traditional energy consumption by 15% across our laundry, food manufacturing and staff accommodation facilities.
We run a comprehensive recycling programme, ensuring recyclable items, including plastic bottles, aluminium cans and foil, are separated from galley waste after they are removed from aircrafts. We also have all cardboard packaging and office paper waste recycled into new paper products and have diverted over 270,000 kilograms of material from landfill.
